Gold was once called the metal of the sun, silver the metal of the moon, and this gender-neutral ring joins the two. Its silver line curves inward, crossed by a slender pin of 18K white gold, so that long and short lines seem to intersect.
In 2016, a designer whose hobby was analyzing plant structures spent long stretches observing the stamen revealed between petals. She was struck by how the stamen, thin and seemingly fragile, was in fact the strong axis holding up the entire flower — and by the way it moved, swaying with flexibility even in the wind. This discovery, a reinterpretation of the flower's anatomy through a new lens, took shape that same year as the concave silhouette of the CONCAVE PIN RING.
Traits of Bone is COLDFRAME’s first collection, born in New York in the early summer of 2016. Inspired by the shape of the female pelvic bone and of the stamen deep inside a flower, its silhouette is thin yet sharp, strong yet fluid. It was completed over many long, happy nights of discussion with friends studying art in New York — an original and bold beginning for COLDFRAME.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. Every COLDFRAME piece is made to order, so the fastest way to receive a different size or style is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order — your new piece will go into production right away.
14-Day Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price.
- Items must be unworn and in their original condition, with the COLDFRAME limestone case and polishing cloth included. The value of missing or damaged components may be deducted from your refund.
- Engraved or otherwise personalized pieces cannot be returned unless they are defective.
- To start a return, email help@coldframeofficial.com with your order number. Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer. Please use a shipping method with tracking — we are unable to issue refunds for returns lost in transit.
- Original shipping fees and import duties and taxes paid at checkout are non-refundable, except where local law requires otherwise.
- Once your return has arrived at our headquarters and been inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. The time it takes for the refund to reach you depends on your card issuer or payment provider.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your jewelry arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us at help@coldframeofficial.com within 30 days of delivery. We will cover all shipping costs and provide a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer.
