Ancient philosophy described the world through four elements: water, fire, earth, and air. Water meant emotion and intuition, fire meant will and passion, earth meant stability and endurance, and air meant thought and clarity. Because any one of them in excess tips the balance, the alchemists believed a fifth element lay at the center where the four gather evenly, and they called it the quintessence.
QUINTESSENCE NECKLACE holds these four elements in four colors of natural sapphire. The pink that echoes fire, the depth of blue sapphire that echoes water, the green of sapphire that echoes earth, the clear light of yellow sapphire that echoes air.
In the 1970s, when long chains were worn hanging below the chest, a long necklace was a symbol of effortless ease. That spirit has been carried into a pared-down form today. The long chain of softly squared links runs on without ornament and offers an unhurried refinement. It suits any outfit naturally, and the fixed sapphire pendant shines, casting different colors as you move.

Exchange & Return Policy
We do not offer direct exchanges. Every COLDFRAME piece is made to order, so the fastest way to receive a different size or style is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order — your new piece will go into production right away.
US Orders — 30-Day Returns
We gladly accept returns on US orders within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price.
- Items must be unworn and in their original condition, with the COLDFRAME limestone case and polishing cloth included. The value of missing or damaged components may be deducted from your refund.
- Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer. Please use a shipping method with tracking — we are unable to issue refunds for returns lost in transit.
- Items that have been worn, damaged, or altered are not eligible for return.
- Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your jewelry arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us at help@coldframeofficial.com within 30 days of delivery. We will cover all shipping costs and provide a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer.
All Other International Orders
Orders shipped outside the United States are final sale and cannot be returned. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are always covered as described above.
- All international orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — COLDFRAME covers every duty, tax, and customs fee. The price you see is the final price. Nothing to pay on delivery.
- All COLDFRAME jewelry is made to order.
Please allow up to 14 business days after payment for production and preparation for shipment.
